Interview with Florrie Burke

Sarah Keller is professor of art and cinema studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her research focuses on experimental form, film experience, and feminist issues in cinema. She is the author of Maya Deren: Incomplete Control (2014) and Anxious Cinephilia (2020). Her most recent book, Barbara Hammer: Pushing Out of the Frame (2021), centers on the career of the experimental filmmaker and artist Barbara Hammer.

Patricia White is professor of film and media studies and the current coordinator of gender and sexuality studies at Swarthmore College. She is the author of Rebecca (2021), Women's Cinema, World Cinema: Projecting Contemporary Feminisms (2015), and Uninvited: Classical Hollywood Cinema and Lesbian Representability (1999). She is a member of the Camera Obscura editorial collective and oversees its book series for Duke University Press.
