Conjuring Barbara

Mark Street is program director of the Visual Arts Program at Fordham University, where he teaches film/video production. His film work has moved from tactile, abstract explorations of 16mm film to essays on the urban experience to improvised narratives and his latest documentary, Work Songs (US, 2019), which examines labor in the twenty-first century. He has shown work in the New York Museum of Modern Art, Anthology Film Archives, the National Gallery of Art, and the San Francisco Cinematheque. His work has appeared at the Tribeca, Sundance, Rotterdam, New York, London, San Francisco, Mill Valley, South by Southwest, and other film festivals.
