Nadia Bou Ali is associate professor and director of the Critical Humanities for the Liberal Arts Program at the American University of Beirut. She is the author of Hall of Mirrors: Psychoanalysis and the Love of Arabic (2020), and coeditor of Lacan contra Foucault: Subjectivity, Sex, and Politics (2018) and Extimacy: Encounters Between Psychoanalysis and Philosophy (2024). Her work has been translated into Spanish, Arabic, and French.
