Jeffrey Williams interviews the British critic and intellectual historian Stefan Collini about his career as well as his criticism of recent policy shifts in British higher education. Collini discusses the development of his work from more academic histories of British social science to more public criticism on literary critics and intellectuals. The interview also covers his recent book, What Are Universities For?, and the situation of higher education in the UK.
