To consider the relation between vulnerability and resistance, this chapter looks at those instances where the kind of precarity and exclusion described by the term “late colony” defines the position of the subject. The chapter argues that such a position compels Kurdish subjects in Turkey to transgress, like Antigone did, norms regarding gender, culture and feminism, thereby placing themselves in a position of vulnerability.
