Part III, “Décollage,” uses fragmented images and text, collage, and handmade cutout books inside a book to perform everyday practices of unsaying. Particular reference is made to interracial love. This section ends with a return to fragments of Sappho interwoven with lines from Amanda Gorman's “The Hill We Climb: Inaugural Poem for a Nation.”
