The epilogue includes diagrams that take up the unspecified problem of information in the original “informatics of domination” chart. The first diagram-spread portrays a discursive fork that arises upon interpreting the meaning of information, despite sharing an identical mathematical, formal root. The second diagram-spread schematizes information as dependent upon a cut in the Real, that is, as dependent on the filter of an organismic model. The third diagram considers blurred distinctions between data signs and natural signs in a planetary epoch, wherein the human is reembedded as a figure sutured to a ground. The final intervention rehearses Haraway’s chart as a commentary on the representational capacities of a chart unto itself compared to the affordances of a diagram, wherein each form offers a distinct strategy of informational compression in visual form.
