This entry takes the form of a hand-illustrated, queer auto-fiction poem. It begins with the prompt, “an American PhD researcher from the University of Tulsa spends a summer in Athens studying Greco-Islamic manuscripts where he discovers an incantation to summon a Persian demon.” This element of the fantastic inflects the writer’s meditations on queer subjectivity, desire, magic, capitalism, and the palindrome TULSASLUT.
