The conclusion considers the stakes of this powerful abstraction called man for how racism and antiracism are understood with reference to Palestine. The chapter revisits Eqbal Ahmad’s speech “Terrorism: Theirs and Ours” to consider what another politics might look like without a reprise of man. Building on Ahmad, the conclusion discusses how Ahmad’s theirs and ours, which refer to views and not ontology, facilitates an understanding of race that can undermine the epistemology of man.
