This module lays the groundwork for multidimensional concept work by providing step-by-step guidance for writing a research imaginary. A research imaginary is a freely written narrative about a project’s contexts, aims, and potentials. The goal of this module is to bring forth a manageable group of key project concepts to work with (the 4Ps: people, places, parts, and processes; and broad and theoretical concepts). Iterating these key concepts from this module forward will shape and reshape the subsequent design elements: the key literatures, concept map, research description, and research questions and methods.
