Sheer inconsistency and bipolarity in religion as in politics present new challenges to Brazilian society. Where once power was defined by the ability to decide, now extreme indecisiveness defines the political, not as an obstacle, but as a generative expression of the establishment itself. Such operational management of rhythmic inconsistencies has come to occupy the central stage of politics today. It sets the agenda for the rise of an authoritarian neoliberalism in Brazil and globally, across regimes.
