In this concluding chapter, Malabou engages with four central issues raised by many of the authors of this volume. These include: the role of philosophy today in light of plasticity; the ideological basis of scientific modeling and the manner in which it can challenge philosophical thinking; autobiography and other forms of experience in relation to the philosophy of plasticity; and philosophy’s contribution and critique of the construction of racial and gendered difference.
